Courses

I give French lessons to individuals and small groups of a maximum of 6 people in a homely atmosphere. The group size allows every participant to develop their skills quickly, with all of the attention and guidance they need.
I also offer courses French for business for private individuals and businesses on location.

French for beginners

In this course you will learn how to hold a simple conversation in French. We use the book Voyages 1 as the foundation for the lessons, supplemented by my knowledge of French customs, while paying special attention to correct pronunciation.

• Cost: 20 lessons of 1.15 hours, €469 excluding text book and study material, including drinks and nibbles.

French for intermediates

During this course you will develop your basic knowledge of French. We use the book Voyages 2/3 as the foundation for the lessons, supplemented by interesting articles and videos from French newspapers and magazines and enriched by my knowledge of French customs. Special attention is payed to correct pronunciation and using.

• Cost: 20 lessons of 1.15 hours, €469 excluding text book and study material, including drinks and nibbles.

French conversation class

Discussions start based on interesting articles from French newspapers, books, magazines and films.  The focus this lesson is on having the confidence to speak, expanding vocabulary and correct pronunciation.

Learn French on your way to Paris 

Intensive French

Learning French starts from the moment you get on the train. The two and a half hours journey flies by as you learn rapidly. Upon arrival you put your newly acquired skills to great use as you enjoy a day full of wonderful challenges in special locations around Paris. The programme is tailor made, with consideration for your level, interests and goals. Improve your knowledge and practice your French in a playful and interesting way while you discover unique places in Paris.

The Intensive French Course takes place every two months at a convenient moment. Costs depend upon the number of participants. Private bookings or groups of up to three participants.

Wieteke Bours

Wieteke studeerde Franse taal en letterkunde aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en Aix-en Provence en verbreedde haar opleiding met een mba, dankzij een beurs van de Franse Ambassade.

Na vier jaar gewerkt te hebben in het hectische Parijse bedrijfsleven bracht de passie voor kunst haar vervolgens naar Londen, waar zij werkte voor een Franse galerie.

​Met een tussenstap in Sydney, keerde Wieteke vier jaar later terug naar Nederland en pakte zij de draad op die al jaren door haar leven meanderde; de liefde voor de Franse taal. Zij haalde haar eerste graad aan de Radboud Universiteit en werd in 2011 docente op het Stedelijk Gymnasium.
Haar enthousiasme voor het lesgeven breidde zich vervolgens uit naar het volwassenenonderwijs waarin zij in een bijzondere sfeer menigeen weet te boeien voor de Franse taal.
